As a child I hated Sundays. My mom always made me clean my room, do laundry and go to bed early. Sundays were the bane of my existence. My how things have changed. Now, Sundays are literally my favorite day of the week.
As a family we clean the house, meal prep and spend the evening snuggling on the sofa, watching a G-rated movie. I find our Sunday routine fun, relaxing, and somewhat therapeutic. But the best part about Sundays is brunch! Of course, this isn’t a weekly routine, but once a month we gather with friends, eat great food and drink mimosas! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Since we’re hosting the next Sunday brunch, I thought it’d be fun to have a fall inspired menu. Pumpkin Cinnamon Rolls, Caramel Apple Streusel Muffins, Applewood Smokey Links… and the list goes on. Which brings me to the main reason we all love brunch, Spiced Fall Mimosas.
You certainly cannot go wrong with a traditional mimosa, but in reality, you cant really go wrong with champagne either.
This Spiced Fall Mimosa combines the bubbly with Simply Apple pressed juice. Not Juicy Juice apple juice, but real apple juice not from concentrate. Although I’m sure any apple juice would work, there’s just something about pressed apple juice that makes this fall drink so crisp, and delicious.
All you do is mix one part champagne to one part juice and enjoy! If you’d like to get the full effect of the spice, rim the glass with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Yum!
