This fruity frozen concoction is the perfect drink to cool off with on those hot summer days. Enjoy poolside, or outdoors with friends!
Here in Guam, it’s always hot. But I know with June quickly approaching, the temps everywhere are starting to rise. And once summer is in full force, you’ll need something cool to sip on. So today, I wanted to share one of my newest summer cocktails, Tropical Wine Slushies. I’m going to keep this short and sweet, so you can spend less time reading and more time sipping.
It doesn’t matter if I’m making Sangria, Slushies, or sipping from the
bottle glass; most of my wine recipes include Sauvignon Blanc. It is by far my favorite white wine. It’s light, crisp and perfectly refreshing. If you’re looking for a sweeter wine, try using a Moscato, but any white will do.
- 1 bottle of white wine, chilled
- 1 c of Malibu Rum
- 2 c frozen pineapple
- 2 c frozen mangoes
- Ice (optional)
- Combine all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Pour into wine glasses and garnish with pineapple wedge. Serve immediately.
- Tip: If you do not like coconut rum, substitute with your favorite liqueur
Cheers! Pin now, enjoy later!
