These refreshing popsicles are the perfect treat to cool you off this summer. Enjoy solo, with friends, or host your very own Sweet Summertime Popsicle Party!
During the summer months, we enjoy anything that has to do with entertaining. And by entertaining, I mean we like to eat and drink with friends, then go to bed by 9 o’clock. I know, we’re such thrill seekers. But seriously, now that we live on a tropical island, all I can think about is being outside enjoying good times with good people.
So, while brainstorming with my 8-year-old one afternoon, we’ve come to the conclusion that we would host our first annual Popsicle Party! Genius, right? An excuse to indulge in popsicles, count me in! This wouldn’t be just an average popsicle party, whatever those look like, this would be a DIY Sweet Summertime Popsicle Party!
So, before the invites were sent out, we had to taste test a few new recipes, to ensure they were top notch! One of those little gems being a classic Orange Creamsicle Popsicle. Orange Mango Sparkling Ice, chunks of mango, whipped topping and a splash of orange juice. Everything heavenly in one dessert.
Before our guest arrived, we set up the popsicle station. We had an array of chopped fruit, ice cream, and a variety of Sparking Ice flavors. While the kiddos experimented, I knew exactly what I wanted to make.
Sparkling Sangria Pops! I mixed my favorite Sangria with Black Raspberry Sparkling Ice and mixed fruit of course, to create the ultimate adult refreshment. Does it get much better than this? I think not!
A few helpful tips:
Make a variety of popsicles prior to the party. This way your guest can cool down while they make their own tasty creations.
Have fun with decorating! I made mini popsicles using cardstock and popsicle sticks to cover the table. And of course, everything was BRIGHT and COLORFUL! The kids had fun playing games with balloons and taking pictures with popsicle props.
Have plenty of refreshments. Besides water, we stocked up on Sparkling Ice for our guest to sip on!
