Saturdays are for snuggling, waffles and a mimosa bar! Of course this isn’t our usual Saturday routine, but we were expecting guest for an early lunch so we figured- why not?! The nice thing about a mimosa bar, besides the obvious, is that it’s super simple and fun for everyone!
All you need is:
Fruit juice of your choice
Fresh fruit (optional)
Set up was pretty much effortless! I had all the ingredients on hand with the exception of the champagne, which Ben got that morning. Aside from the traditional orange juice we also used Tropicana’s Strawberry Banana- which was delicious! You could use any fruit on hand, or none at all. I thought about using frozen pineapple, but luckily we had fresh oranges and berries that needed to be eaten ASAP.
The chalkboard banner I used was $1 at Target that I had purchased a few months back. I have an addiction to buying things I do not need from Target, especially in the dollar section 🙂 I made cute printables for the straws that you can find here and the sign located here . I love how inexpensive, yet impactful the mimosa bar was. I did it in less than 20 minutes and spent under $10.
It was perfect for our holiday weekend. Our friends were able to get creative with their concoctions and try several different options. It created a fun atmosphere and we were able to cater to everyone! I definitely see a few more mimosa bars in our future!
