There are only a few days left of school and all I seem to think about is where did the time go? It’s hard to believe that I will soon have a 2nd grader on my hands. He has grown so much this past year, I wanted to show his teacher just how much we appreciate all she’s done.
I could always go the gift card route, but I wanted to do something more personable- and nothing does it better than a gift that keeps growing. Not only is it super simple, but it’s something she can cherish in years to come.
All you need is:
First, you plant the flowers in the watering can. Then, with tape attach the printable to a pencil. Easy peezy! I chose to attach ribbon to the watering can, but it looks great without it as well. My son and I had so much fun doing this project. He planted the flowers and I assembled the sign. If that isn’t teamwork, then I don’t know what is.
You know what the best part is? He is so proud that he made his teacher a gift. Watching how excited he was to plant her favorite color flower was priceless.
Fining the perfect teachers gift doesn’t need to be difficult or expensive. All the materials cost me less than $10! I was shocked at how little we spent I decided to make ANOTHER gift because we adore her so much.
While shopping for my mother at Bath & Body Works it dawned on me to make a traditional apple inspired gift. Lucky for me it was during their semi-annual sale so I got a lotion, body wash, wallflower and body cream for only $14!
To make it extra special I made gift tags to attach that you can download here . Not only can teachers enjoy this gift, but it makes a great birthday gift too! I hope these stress free ideas have inspired you to create something fun.
