My poor baby has been teething for quite some time now. When thinking about her first Easter basket I wanted to include something to provide relief to her sore gummies. I decided to create something fun and simple that didn’t require a lot of time or materials. A DIY no sew teething ring seemed like the perfect idea!
All you need:
Wooden teething ring
Etsy sells a variety of teething rings, the price may vary depending on your needs. I chose to use an organic ring preserved in olive oil and beeswax. I used an assortment of different size ribbon that I had leftover from a previous project. I liked pairing thin and thick ribbon together to make it appear full. You could use a variety of patterns, colors and sizes.
I then estimated my desired length and cut 4 strips, alternating patterns and size. When tying the ribbon I made sure to use a double knot so the ribbon would stay nice and snug. Once assembled, I heat sealed the ends to prevent future fraying.
Voilá! I love this project because it took me less than 10 minutes and I know baby girl will love it! Her first Easter basket is officially complete!
