Last weekend, we spent the afternoon back to school shopping for our soon to be second grader. Of course I expected it to be a complete disaster, but it went surprisingly well. You see, my son is extremely hard to shop for. He’s just like his dad, tall and thin. Not to mention the wing span on these boys. Long sleeve shirts? Forget it! They’re never long enough! With a little creativity, we were able to find some awesome outfits that were fun, and easy on my wallet.
I tried to find pieces that were stylish, and comfortable! Luckily, Crazy 8 had tons of graphic tees, which are his favorite!
This is hands down my favorite outfit! I love the layered look, especially for picture day. The graphic tee has a little pop of color that ties in the plaid button up. Since the sleeves weren’t long enough (big surprise) I rolled them up for a more casual look. I especially love the jeans, they’re a perfect fit! Generous length and I can adjust the waist as he grows.
Like I mentioned before, this kid loves his graphic tees. We paired a simple tee with Levi’s 505 denim for a relaxed look. Can’t forget about the shoes! We chose the black Fila because they’re versatile, they match everything we bought!
Check out that backpack!
Going back to school is always a special experience. Considering this will be his last time attending school in the states for a while, I wanted to provide him with everything he needs to make this a memorable moment. The first day wouldn’t be complete without a picture!
